Editorial Structure

This exploratory project examines how editorial layouts can more closely reflect the spatial qualities of architecture and interior design. Rather than treating the website as a container for images, the layout is approached as a compositional system — where spacing, proportion, and sequence define how work is experienced. Large fields of negative space are used to establish rhythm and hierarchy, allowing images and text to sit with clarity rather than competition. Content is not compressed into grids, but given room to breathe, creating a slower, more considered reading experience that mirrors the pacing of physical space.

A restrained tonal language carries through each space, where material, light, and colour operate in continuity rather than contrast. Transitions unfold quietly, allowing the interior to be experienced as a single, immersive atmosphere rather than a sequence of defined rooms.
